The world champion and record holder in short-course and long-course swimming, Kyle Chalmer recently won a gold at World Aquatic Championships 2023. In the 100-meter freestyle swimming, Chalmer set the water on fire and won the event. He is considered one of the best sprint swimmers for records and medals but besides that, he is also pretty much known for his unique tattoo collection.
It is quite evident that the Olympian is fond of unique tattoos which he sports on his chest, arm, hands, and calf depicting different things which are subtle to interpret. Last year, he was seen getting a tattoo from his English mate who is also a competitive swimmer, Adam Peaty.

Two days ago a post was shared on Instagram by the Olympics, which showed different Olympians with their unique tattoos. The post also included the photo of Peaty documenting the tattoo on Chalmers?s body. Adam Peaty is a competitive swimmer from Britain, who also won a gold in the 2016 Summer Olympics. The Olympics asked the viewers to choose the best photo by saying, ?Who has your favourite Olympic ink??

Peaty and Chalmers have stayed friends for a long time, they are rivals in the swimming stage but still manage to share a sweet bond. Kyle Chalmers, who is already known for his love for ink on the body, let his friends, Peaty and Matthew Temple make their inputs in his latest tattoo edition. Chalmers celebrated his success in 2022 December with Peaty and Matthew Temple where Peaty drew his signature on Kyle?s calf and Temple drew a special number. It was to celebrate a great victory that was shared by Chalmers, Temple, Isaac Cooper, and Joshua Yong in their butterfly team leg for Team USA. But why did Matthew draw the number? Matthew Temple?s special tattoo on Chalmers
Matthew Temple is known for his record in the long course 100m butterfly with a time set of 50.45 seconds. In last year’s swimming championships, the Australian competitive swimmer Matthew Temple set the fastest time in the medley relay of the butterfly leg. He made it in 48. 34 seconds and this achievement was not only celebrated by him but his friend Chalmer celebrated this by tattooing this number on himself too. Chalmers has many more interesting tattoos on his body with thewn unique interpretation. In 2021, Chalmers revealed his desire for tattoos by saying, ?For me I’ve always wanted to get tattoos?I think mainly because my mum always said no. I’m the person who if I’m told no it makes me want to get them even more.? Kyle Chalmers’s tattoos have beautiful meanings and quotes to stay strong forever like, ‘Nur die starken ?berleben’, which means ‘only the strong survive.’
