He humorously compared his crying face to that of his brothers at their respective weddings, quipping, “He looks like a fish, and I just look bad.” However, his wife Meghan Dressel shared that, “Caleb is a very tender-hearted man,” and she loves that about him as it is a rare trait to find. Meghan said, “If he comes home and has a hard day, like, nothing is hidden on his face at all. He’ll just get home and just fall into my arms.” 

She continued sharing, ” At our wedding, his parents never had a first dance at their wedding, so we gave them one at ours, and just tears streaming down his face.” Meghan Dressel also highlighted their ability to embrace both joys and hardships, an integral part of being human. Caeleb Dressel and Meghan Dressel knew each other as they both grew up swimming in Florida, from swimming meets when they were around six to eight years old. Meghan had a crush on Caeleb when they were younger, drawn to his heartthrob status among the girls. They didn’t become friends until they both started swimming together at Bulls late at night.

Eventually, Caeleb realized he had feelings for Meghan. He even shared, “I told her, like, two months into dating, I was going to marry her, but that probably happens a lot with high school kids, like that dumb love. But I was being serious.” Their love culminated in marriage in 2021, and on February 17, 2024, they welcomed their son, August Wilder Dressel.
