According to SwimSwam, Carson Foster, hailed as one of the USA’s premier male swimmers, played a pivotal role in the Texas team’s triumph in the 800-yard freestyle relay at the previous year’s NCAA championships. However, this year, Texas faces a setback with the absence of two key swimmers, Carson Foster and Peter Larson, from their relay team. Carson Foster boasts three gold medals at the 2019 World Junior Championships and two silver medals at the 2017 World Junior Championships.
Having turned professional in 2023, Foster now sets his sights on the Olympic year, gearing up for the 2024 U.S. Olympic Trials and ultimately the Olympic Games in Paris, where he aims to challenge his rival, Arizona State Sun Devils’ Leon Marchand. Despite these losses, Texas remains undeterred in its pursuit of excellence, still aiming for the stars.
