Ryan Lochte is the second most decorated Olympian from the USA. Specifically, he has won 12 Olympics medals, including six gold, three silver, and three bronze medals. Although, after the 2016 Rio Olympics, he has been under constant problems. Alex Rodriguez then had him on his show ‘Back In The Game’, where he aimed to help the athletes who went through difficult times. Rodriguez is a baseball legend who played the major chunk of his career for The New York Yankees.

After the gas station incident, where he and his teammates were accused of making false accusations during the 2016 Rio Olympics, Ryan lost millions of dollars of sponsorships. He also served a 14-month suspension for using a prohibited IV infusion.

Alex Rodriguez abandoned the deal with Ryan Lochte mid-way

Alex Rodriguez aims to mentor the athletes who went through hard times. In 2019, Ryan Lochte came to his show ‘Back In The Game’ after being in tough situations after the Rio Olympics. Rodriguez set him up to pay $15,000 per month through the personal training app Fitplan. Lochte claims that he received the payments just for the first three months, and when asked why it stopped, they say because Ryan could not bring in the subscribers.

Ryan Lochte said in ‘In Depth with Graham Bensinger’, “I just recently reached out even like a month ago to Alex, being like, ‘Dude, I know you got me. Your show is ‘Back in the Game.’ There is good and bad things that happened out of this, but ‘Back in the Game,’ like I’m not really back in the game,’” He added, “And like, haven’t heard anything from him.”

‘Back In The game’ showed Ryan’s wife in the wrong perception

Ryan confessed on ‘In Depth with Graham Bensinger’, that he wasn’t satisfied with the way his family was portrayed on ‘Back In The Game’. He added, “We were looking at cars, because we want- had to trade in her car for the show, or whatever, and to cut down our expenses. And um, they made her say like, “Oh, this is no.” Being like, “No, this is not. I would never drive this.”

He defended his wife and said, “And that’s not her at all. She’s, like, the penny pincher. And it portrayed her as being this superficial person”. Ryan finally opened up on Graham Bensinger’s show and expressed his fume regarding Alex’s show.

Alex Rodriguez was under big accusation as he dropped a deal with an Olympic legend. However, Ryan was looking forward to this deal, but it didn’t help him financially. Although Ryan mentioned the show helped him apologize to his teammates.
