Swimming G.O.A.T Michael Phelps returned to the University of Michigan to serve as the honorary captain of the Wolverines Football team last Saturday. It was the team?s top-10 showdown against Penn State and the home team emerged victorious. Phelps, an ardent fan of football, had a great time, as evident in the pictures making rounds on social media.

Phelps shares a long history with the school. After the 2004 Olympics, he moved to Ann Arbor when Bob Bowman, his coach, became the head coach at the University of Michigan. Although Phelps couldn?t swim for the university as he had accepted endorsement money from Speedo, Visa, etc, he served as an assistant coach. Fair to say, while Phelps felt nostalgic touring around the campus, the students and others who watched him on tv couldn?t help but look at him with awe.
