It all started in 2021 during the opening ceremony of the Tokyo Olympics 2020 when Kevin Hart and Snoop Dogg had swimming legend Michael Phelps on their segment. Hart tried to impress Phelps with his swimming skills then, but was caught using unfair means. Two years later, Kevin Hart finally shows his butterfly prowess, and the world, including Michael Phelps, took notice. Another known celebrity who was impressed by Hart’s magnificent flow in the water is the villain of Black Panther, the Kilmonger star.

Michael B Jordan, known for his movies like Black Panther, Wakanda Forever, and Creed franchise, has now joined in on the Hart vs Phelps challenge that’s been thrown around. He was quite happy with what Hart did, despite expecting otherwise.

Kevin Hart posted a video on his Instagram, showing his butterfly swimming skills to Michael Phelps. The 5’2″ comedian-actor called out the 6’4″ Baltimore Bullet and this time, he was open for a real showdown. Hart wrote in the caption, “This message is for you @m_phelps00 …..I’m on yo ass and I’m coming for all of those gold medals. Give me a 2 lap head start and I will kick yo ass man!!!!!”

Despite the anger-fueled rant and open challenge to possibly the greatest swimmer in the world, it was all part of Kevin Hart’s manner of humor. The last line, in particular, is sarcastic enough to reveal his intended humor. Now, Michael B Jordan has commented, “Impressed..really..thought that was gonna go differently”.
