And the most decorated Olympian in history is no different. Michael Phelps found his coach and mentor in Bob Bowman, who helped him through his darkest days. Taking his Twitter handle, Young Thug
tweeted, “I’m talking with my roommate, and we’re wondering if you could swim 100 miles from the middle of the ocean back to shore – @MichaelPhelps.” While fans reacted with laughing emojis, some called out to Phelps to do this challenge.Meanwhile, Michael himself couldn’t ignore the tweet and replied, “Yeah. I think I could make it.” Their epic conversation, which started with the queries, entertained their fans. In reply, Thug again questioned the 23-time Olympic gold medalist. Finally, he asked, “How long do you think it would take?”

At last, Phelps replied while calling out the name of his mentor, Bob Bowman. The Baltimore Bullet wrote, “Talking to @coach_bowman…. We think it’d take 50ish hours. and it wouldn’t be pleasant.” However, it would be difficult for him to cover this distance simultaneously.
But at the Olympics in Rio in 2016, he did something great that will go down in history and be scribbled with golden ink. During the games, the legend broke a 2168-year-old record. In addition, he set a new record for most individual victories at the Olympics by earning his 13th individual gold medal in the 200-meter medley.

Phelps won five gold medals and one silver medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics, bringing his total to 28.
