However, owing to the speculations, the actor showed up at an interview on On Air With Ryan Seacrest. He stated that the film was shot in June 2016 and it had nothing to do with the swimmer.??

Zac commented on the incident saying,?“The director and I came up with the concept and we thought it was funnier than it was originally written.” Efron continued,?“Then I don’t know what happened! The Olympics happened much later and we were texting each other, ‘What the heck is going on dude? Is this for real? … It was very trippy.”
