Kate Douglass has had a very successful collegiate swimming career at the University of Virginia, winning 15 NCAA titles and securing 14 medals from world championships. Additionally, Kate Douglass is ready for the Paris Olympics, having secured her spot on the team as a second-time Olympian with a 100m freestyle final score of 52.56 seconds. Her Olympic trials this year were superb, as she finished the 200m backstroke with a time of 2:19.66, coming in 0.36 seconds faster than her own American record.
