In Atlantic City, known for its vibrant energy, today dimmed the waters with sorrow. According to FOX 29 News, A 79-year-old woman, swimming near a floating dock, found herself in collision with a boat. This unfortunate incident took place during the early evening hours on a Saturday, casting a pall of sadness over what should have been a serene aquatic escape.

Furthermore, the victim, Norma Michaels, met her tragic end, leaving questions and a collective sense of grief in her wake. The police say the boat is at the scene and as of now, no injuries have been reported on the woman’s body. However, the incident is under investigation. However, this recent incident isn’t new, the world has already witnessed a similar tragedy in Commerce Township, Michigan.

Alexandre Zorin, a 57-year-old man from Novi, embarked on a swim across Lower Straits Lake, only to encounter an unexpected and fatal encounter with a boat. His journey took a devastating turn when an unforeseen and fatal collision with a boat occurred. Following these tragic incidents, the Oakland County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue Team (SSRT) swiftly arrived at the scene on Oak Beach Drive in Commerce Township.

Struck around 5 p.m. by a 22-foot pontoon boat, Zorin’s life was tragically cut short. Despite valiant efforts to save him, Zorin succumbed to his injuries before the clock struck midnight. After investigation, it was found that Zorin was swimming some 50-75 yards from the shore when the boat’s path tragically intersected with his own. The surge in drowning & fatal incidents has left the swimming community bewildered, leaving the fans shaken to their core.
