As reported by WPRI.COM, One of the members of the family spotted the 4-year-old boy submerged in the swimming pool while they were enjoying a cookout session. However, the family was planning to cover the pool in the evening when he was spotted by one of his cousins. One of the members of the family stated that the girl was walking by the pool and dappled him at the bottom of the pool, and then she rushed to her uncles to inform them. They dove in and pulled him out of the pool. As soon as he was retrieved from the water, the boy’s family members started to give him Cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

Erin Decrosta, one of the three members who gave CPR to the boy, stated that she didn’t register it initially and added that she did not think about it until it was all over. She also added that every moment felt like an endless stretch of time. Dawn Bourdeois, another member of the same family, stated, “Her face was red; she was exhausted.” The family kept giving him CPR until he came back to life. The family’s undying determination brought the little boy back.
