The AP Race London International 2024 by Adam Peaty is back, according to a post on Instagram by AP Race Events. This swimming competition will be open to swimmers of all levels, from beginners to elite athletes to international swimmers, from May 25th to May 27th, 2024, at the London Aquatics Centre. The post on Instagram also revealed, “2000 TICKETS SOLD!!!” With tickets retailing for approximately £25.00 ($31.43), this venture has already garnered Peaty nearly $60,000. Last year’s event was a big hit, and it’s even better this time, especially since it’s the Olympic year.

It is also important to note that this competition by Adam Peaty is officially recognized by the World Aquatics Organization. So, the swimmers will also get a chance to qualify for events like the Paris 2024 Olympics, the World Aquatics Championships for short course swimming (SC) held in Hungary in 2024, and the World Aquatics Championships for long course swimming (LC) held in Singapore in 2025. Last years top five contenders

Last year, at the inaugural AP Race International Meet by Adam Peaty held at the London Aquatic Center, five athletes shone as the top five overall finishers. Sydney Pickrem from Canada secured the top spot by completing the women’s 200-meter individual medley (IM) in 2 minutes and 8.89 seconds, earning 936 points and £10,000 ($12,270) in prize money. Arno Kamminga of the Netherlands dominated the men’s 200m breaststroke with a time of 2 minutes and 9.34 seconds, accumulating 923 points and winning £4,000 ($4,908) in prize money. There was a tie for third place between Tes Schouten from the Netherlands and Matt Richards from Great Britain.

Tes Schouten clinched victory in the women’s 100m breaststroke in 1 minute and 5.93 seconds, while Matt Richards triumphed in the men’s 100m freestyle with a time of 48.17 seconds. Both athletes earned 920 points each, and their combined prize money amounted to £3500 ($4,300). Lastly, Daniel Wiffen of Ireland claimed the fifth position by completing the men’s 1500m freestyle in 14 minutes and 57.30 seconds, accumulating 914 points and receiving £750 ($920) in prize money. With just three months left until the exciting showdown, fans eagerly await seeing their favorite swimming stars make waves in the heart of London again.
