Michael Andrew gives equal priority to his life outside the swimming pool. After missing out on the Swimming World Championships, he said, “There were a lot of things I was dealing outside of the pool emotionally spiritually that I just like, I think took away from my focus, which is a good thing”. Today, he expressed gratitude to all those people who make his life meaningful and balanced. He shared a slew of pictures with his equestrian girlfriend, Kendall Gath, and his closest friends. They hung out by the poolside and spent the day chatting and enjoying each other’s company. Nevertheless, as the day progressed into the dusk, Michael Andrew had to put in the reps to stay in posture. Instead of swimming, he chose to play a game of tennis with Gath. The following day, he was due at the training center, but before he left, Andrew tended to the Christmas tree on his balcony and took a selfie with his girlfriend. Suffice it to say the fans were overjoyed seeing him live life to the fullest.
