Sports stars can often be seen attending games of different sports. Michael Phelps, the most decorated Olympian of all time, is known for making regular appearances at various football and baseball games. More recently, the swimming legend attended a football match between the USC Trojans and Arizona Sun Devils. While Phelps currently resides in Arizona, he was seen rocking a USC cap along with his wife Nicole, who is also an alum of the University of Southern California.
Now, only a few days later, a fellow Olympian and multiple swimming world champion also made an appearance at a college football game. Recently, the engineer-cum-swimmer posted an update on his social media while attending an SMU Mustangs football game with his partner.

Not many people know, but Nic Fink is not a full-time swimmer. In fact, Fink is an engineer at a utility company in Atlanta, and in his spare time, the multiple world championship holder trains for elite swimming events. In a recent Instagram story, the Olympian uploaded a picture of a football game and geotagged the Gerald J.Ford Stadium in Dallas, Texas, which is also the home of SMU Mustangs. Fink also captioned his story with the phrase,?“Pony up!!!”
A following Instagram story revealed that the swimmer was attending the game with his partner, Melanie Margalis Fink. While Nic is an alum of the University of Georgia, Melanie is currently the assistant coach of SMU Women’s Swimming and Diving and is also a Team USA swimmer.
This also highlights Nic’s commitment towards his partner as they enjoyed the Southern Methodist University players in action. The SMU Mustangs were facing Charlotte and eventually beat them 34-16. As for swimmers attending different sports, earlier this month, Michael Phelps was once again seen attending an MLB game.
