Four young girls joyfully splashed in the water, however, after a few minutes found themselves facing the terrifying force of nature. In other words, the consequences were grave, leaving everyone in mourning and contemplating the unpredictability of nature’s fury.

The swimming world has already witnessed multiple drownings, horrific losses, and terrifying incidents. But, this attack of nature is something completely new to the swimming enthusiasts. According to FOX23 NEWS, Blue Hole Park, a well-known local swimming spot located seven miles east of Salina, four girls eagerly took to the water around 10:45 a.m. A sudden bolt of lightning struck the water, leaving all four girls injured in its wake. The incident immediately attracted the attention from the Grand River Dam Authority (GRDA) officials, who swiftly responded to the distressing scene.

Nevertheless, Justin Alberty, GRDA, spokesperson reported that two of the injured girls were rushed to a nearby Pryor hospital using a personal vehicle. While the other two were admitted by ambulance to a hospital in Tulsa. The quick and efficient response from the local authorities played a crucial role. It includes the GRDA police, Mayes County Sheriff’s Office, Chimney Rock Fire Department, and Kenwood Fire Department.

13-Year-Old Girl Drowns in Lake Julia

Another tragic and horrifying incident took place a few days ago. At Lake Julia, Minnesota, a 13-year-old girl lost her life while swimming with friends. The picturesque lake, known for its boating and fishing opportunities, turned into a site of grief. Removing her floatation device proved to be a fatal decision as she went underwater and never resurfaced.

Despite frantic attempts by her friends, the young girl remained submerged. Post this, a dive team chimed in and discovered her lifeless body in 23 feet of water.
