Cody Simpson and Emma McKeon are Australia’s swimming power couple. McKeon is among the most decorated female Olympic swimmers in the world, with 11 Olympic gold medals. Meanwhile, Cody Simpson, a world-renowned pop star turned elite swimmer, has won Commonwealth gold since returning to swimming in 2019. The couple began dating in 2022 while training for the Birmingham Commonwealth Games. Recently the elite swimming couple bought a new home for themselves on Australia’s Gold Coast.

Simpson and McKeon’s new $1,826,000 home has two storeys, five bedrooms, three bathrooms, and an eight-by-four-meter concrete pool. The 28-year-old Olympian’s latest Instagram post suggests the couple has moved into their new home. On April 10, the five-time Olympic gold medalist posted a photo sunbathing beside the pool.
Listing Agent Amir Prestige writes that the locality has an “intimate village vibe and array of cosmopolitan cafes, restaurants, and coffee shops.” According to the listing, the property is “a brand new, architecturally designed masterpiece. Boasting no-expense-spared finishes… it epitomises laidback, modern luxury.”

The entry to the house boasts a “high voided ceiling and floating staircase with glass balustrading.” The five bedrooms of the 506 sq ft. house also get abundant sunlight. The house also has a fully decked-out, open-plan, designer kitchen according to the listing on the Amir Prestige website. One of the three bathrooms is part of the master suite. The other two are present on each of the two floors.
The $1.8 million home was sold through realtor Nat King. Interestingly, the pair is currently competing in the Australian Swimming Championships which is being held at Gold Coast.

Emma McKeon is the most successful athlete in the history of the commonwealth games, with 11 gold medals. She is also the defending Short Course World Champion in the 50m, 100m, 4x100m, and 4x50m medley. However, she has had a rocky start at the Australian Championships.
In the 100m freestyle, McKeon finished in third place (53.22) behind Mollie O’Callaghan (52.63) and Shayna Jack (52.64). The 26-old Simpson also didn’t find success at the national championships. He finished 10th in the Men’s 50m butterfly.
