She had the rare opportunity to explore the ocean floor, equipped with a tank. While her husband free-dived alongside black-tip reef sharks. As the couple immersed themselves in the world of these magnificent predators, an encounter with a massive mama shark left Nicole in awe. I mean tracked each other until we no longer could lock eyes???

However, multiple shark attacks are constantly being reported in the U.S. A whopping 72% of all unprovoked shark attacks in the world occur stateside and the most recent attack was just a few days back in Florida.

Latest shark attack in Florida

Within the U.S. the state of Florida recorded the highest percentage of unprovoked shark bites. Last year, the Sunshine State saw 39% of all unprovoked attacks in the U.S. Volusia County records the most attacks in the state, with one occurring just a few days back. A shark recently bit an unidentified 21-year-old man while surfing in New Smyrna Beach. The victim suffered injuries to his foot, which thankfully are not life-threatening in nature. This attack makes it the second shark attack in Volusia County this year.
