In a recent Instagram post, Curzan provided a glimpse of her sojourn at the 2024 World Aquatics Championships in Doha. It took place from February 2 to February 18, 2024. She expressed her profound gratitude, stating, “Couldn’t have scripted a better week. SO proud of our small but mighty Team USA and had a blast racing!!” Curzan also extended her appreciation to the World Aquatics Championships and the city of Doha for hosting the event, as well as TYR Sport. TYR Sport is an American company that designs, develops, and manufactures competitive swim and triathlon apparel.

At the World Aquatic Championships, Curzan not only earned the tag of Best Female Swimmer, but she also achieved a backstroke “treble.” She secured gold medals in the 50m, 100m, and 200m backstroke events. This remarkable feat placed her in elite company, as only the second woman in history, to achieve such a clean sweep in backstroke. Australian Kaylee McKeown achieved it at the previous year’s World Championships. As soon as Claire Curzan’s Instagram post was shared, fans and celebrities eagerly took to it, like fish to water, pun intended.
