Carissa Moore, the surfing sensation is a gold medal winner in 2020 Tokyo’s inaugural surfing event. In the WSL Finals in 2022, she was trounced by Australian Stephanie Gilmore. Now, after winning 3 contests this season and making her way to the Olympic team, she stood atop the podium. With joy and elation, she stated, “I just found out that I provisionally qualified for the Olympics 2024, here in Tahiti. I couldn’t be more stoked.” But that’s not all – two more champions stand beside her.
