Trying out car surfing, his friend stood on the roof of his vehicle. Unexpectedly, the teenager lost control of his screeching car and hit a nearby GMC Arcadia SUV. As a result of the bang, his surfer friend was launched forward onto the hood of Hamilton’s car. After sliding down from the vehicle, he ran away from the parking area. Unfortunately, there were two boys inside the SUV at the accident juncture. One of them badly injured their head and was admitted to the hospital. Jeff Taub, the parent of the boys in the SUV, requested the school authorities to take action against the reckless driver. Reportedly, besides injuring the boys in the SUV, Hamilton also caused damage to an unoccupied Tesla. DISCIPLINARY ACTIONS AGAINST THE DRIVER Hamilton was later detained and arrested on reckless driving charges. Seminole County Sheriff Dennis Lemma expressed the accident as absolutely unacceptable. He stated to the news channel, “Not only was this event reckless, but it was also an incredibly dangerous activity that put multiple lives in immediate danger.
