McGregor, known for his unwavering commitment to inclusion, expressed his delight, stating, “My favorite part is probably just seeing them stand up for the first time, just getting stoked out of their mind, you know, and just, uh, stoked on life, you know.” 

The infectious joy was felt by participants like Mariah. She traveled from Bakersfield to surf with the goats. Expressing her elation, Mariah stated, “It’s really fun, I fell a couple of times but it’s still fun.” The Surfing Goats event was held on Saturday, but McGregor’s dedication continues, with plans to host another empowering session on Monday. This one is specifically tailored for adults with special needs. Through these transformative experiences, Surfing Goats and Bakersfield ARC create a wave of inclusivity, fostering confidence and lifelong memories of these incredible individuals.
