Robert recently posted a video on his TikTok and Instagram that reminded the world of his late father’s love for adventure and the great outdoors.
Robert channels his late father’s surfing skills

In his surfing video, Robert paddles through the waves with a zest in order to pay his sincere tributes to his father. The young Australian effortlessly glided on his surfboard and looked like a seasoned pro. According to a Daily Mail report, while he rode the waves skillfully in a closeup shot, Robert wrote, “How it feels surfing”. In the following zoomed-out shot, Robert does a few twists and turns on the waves and wrote, “How it looks.” Although the emotion in the video is funny, the video tells a story of a boy who has found solace in the embrace of the ocean, just like his father.
Robert’s video took fans back in time and reminded them of his late father’s immense love for surfing. The Crocodile Hunter was an avid surfer and even during his television programs, audiences often caught a glimpse of Steve Irwin, surfing on his surfboard. An old Animal Planet program also has Robert on record, expressing his passion for surfing by saying, “I love to surf. It’s my chosen sport. I virtually live to surf and when I’m not doing wildlife that’s what I’m doing. Out there surfing.” Through his post, Robert connected with the memory of his father, and in a way, the video acts as an homage to his father’s love for adventure.
