The message was accompanied by a captivating carousel of images, each capturing a different facet of her journey. The post read, “We wanted to announce today that World Dog Surfing championships will be Skyler’s last Competition… Skyler is almost 15, she’s doing good but slowing down a bit, we figured it was time to let other dogs shine.” Having triumphed in individual heats and forging an indomitable connection with her owner, Homer Henard, Skyler is now set to participate in dog/human tandem competitions.
