The American professional surfer Robert Kelly Slater is hoping to qualify for Paris Olympics next year. His hopes were boosted by a wildcard award from World Surf League. The millionaire and surfing legend Kelly couldn’t appear in Tokyo Olympics earlier as he had missed out by a whisker. However, he took part in other leagues. Just two days back, Kelly made the news for supporting the ban on the captivity of whales.
