An Instagram post by hungryfaka aka Isaac Scharsch went, “F**king waves is pumping today!” and then tagged Jenna Vargas, who shot the video attached alongside it. The video was short but sublime. In it, Scharsch stood on the edge of the boat and started balancing himself for take off.

The boat had other members in it, and it was heading straight towards a humongous wave, one that was as tall as the boat itself. Amidst this scary-looking wave coming towards them, Scharsch takes a leap. It was a leap of faith into the ocean, and he came out safe and sound on the other side.
