But the couple had to wait for five long years to make that wish realized. Ultimately, it was about having kids with the surfing legend. This year, in March, the loving couple expressed their delight at the announcement.

Kelly Slater finds multiple reasons to enjoy the day 

Recently, Kalani Miller celebrated her baby shower day in the presence of her close ones. However, Kelly Slater could not attend the auspicious moment. His busy schedule might have kept him away from the occasion. But on IG, the 52-year-old legend displayed his jubilation, by sharing a snap from that ritual. With that, the loving boyfriend penned his thankfulness by adding, “Thanks to everyone who made @kalanimiller’s day so wonderful”. The pomp and jubilance was evident as Kelly is looking for a comeback soon, again! 

Just a few days back, the surfing luminary had announced to keep his surfing boards on overdrive. The revelation came after he failed in the Mid-Season Cut in the Western Australia Margaret River Pro. However, Kelly Slater is not quite ready to bow out from the surfing endeavor. The World Surf League announced him as the wild card entry in the upcoming SHISEIDO Tahiti Pro and Corona Fiji Pro. That added to his exhilaration further, as in both the contests last year, Kelly displayed a phenomenal run. So combining all these merriments, Kelly Slater might forget his missed Paris Olympics affair. But the surfing legend might have to tackle a new challenge in the upcoming future. 

Kalani Miller throws an uncommon challenge 

While nurturing their special bond since 2006, Kalani Miller knows the nooks and crannies of Kelly Slater’s character. She eloquently remembers the surfer’ “five minutes late” schedule and his trying to make up everything. But in the meantime, she nurtures another wish in her heart. 

With Kelly, Kalani wants “maybe two or three” kids. And with that, she also wants to see how the soon-to-be-father manages all these curveballs and challenges. The entrepreneur knows that the WSL legend has many obligations in managing his surfing engagements. So, she expects a thoroughly new Kelly Slater on the place, balancing his fatherly and competitive engagements with the same glee. Kelly is materializing that hope steadily.
