Cerebra Innovation Centre is a children’s charity based in the UK. It helps the parents of specially abled children to learn more about the child’s development techniques. The CIC (Cerebra Innovation Centre) always stays active to respond to requests for assistance from different families. Its main function is to investigate and develop potential interventions to support independent living and improve relative quality of life.

Since the inception of CIC in 2005, the collaboration between University Of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD) and Cerebra Innovation Centre is collaborating to implement unique ideas together. Along similar lines, CIC paired up with(UWTSD) in the coastal city of Swansea to help out a New York-based teenager.

CIC rendered its staunch assistance to a young surfer

A 17-year-old schoolboy from New York, Brandon Klein was longing to transform the surfing experience for disabled people. It?s an intriguing thought but seemingly does not get much attention for evolution. So, inspired by this surfing desire, the New York teen set up a charity called ?Brandon Surf For All?. It aimed to provide comprehensive surfing opportunities which again needed to be partnered with renowned global experts for advice.

 

This led him to the Cerebra Innovation Centre. From new equipment to new learning resources, and to new ways to support the children with mental disability; Cerebra Innovative is researching and developing it all.

Cerebra?s Guidance And Assistance For Surfboard

A partnership between children’s charity, Cerebra, and the University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD) in Swansea recently helped a New York schoolboy. It helped the teen to build one of the first custom adaptable surfboards in the United States.

This amazing creation Cerebra Surfboard was launched in 2016. And with its inception it gained wide popularity across UK. And now in US and many other countries. Dr head, who guided in creating this Cerebra Surfboard says-

?I am really proud of our Tandem surfboards and the amount of fun, laughter, and smiles it has enabled over the years, so I?m excited to see it hit the waves in America! Well done Brandon, you should be proud of yourself- you will love seeing those smiles too!?

For the joy and thrill of disabled children?s experiencing the ocean, Cerebra Innovation has created amazing surfboards. Interestingly, the surfboards in CIC include a wheelchair to support the children’s seat and nonetheless it also leaves a lot of space behind it to help the surfer manoeuvre through the ocean.
