Dog surfing involves proper training of the four-legged creatures on surfboards, skimboards, bodyboards, etc. Recently, a dog named Bo surfed for the first time on the streets of Florida, attracting great attention from the locals. All thanks goes to his owner who rightly utilized the flooded streets of Florida.

In June 2021, social media saw an adorable video of Bo surfing on the flooded streets at Fort Lаuderdаle, Floridа. Moreover, the video was uploaded by fellow native Rachel Frank. Let’s check it out!

During a storm that water-logged the streets of Lаuderdаle in 2021, Bo’s owner Peter Rosen decided to experiment with his dog. He assumed the water-filled locality to be the ideal situation for Bo to try surfing for the first time. He then decided to take out his motorbike. Peter Rosen then tied one end of a rope to his bike and the other to the surfing board.

He knew his dog was a fast learner. Rosen made Bob stand on the surfboard and tied the surfboard at the end of his bike with a rope. As he began to drive his bike, it pulled the surfboard forward. Much to everyone’s surprise, Bo looked relaxed effortlessly balancing the surfboard on the water.

Rosen’s neighbor Rachel Frank decided to videotape the impromptu adaptation skills displayed by Bo. She uploaded the video on her Facebook captioning it as “Honestly the most Florida thing I’ve ever seen”

Rosen met Bo four years prior to witnessing Bo’s character oozing out of his marvellous stunts when he were vacationing in the Cayman Islands. Knowing that Bo was abandoned by his last owner, the Rosen decided to adopt him. In Florida, Bo lives a great life surfing like a pro on the water-logged streets with Peter Rosen.
