“All should be fine, just need some time” was Kai Lenny’s argument after the incident of Da Hui Backdoor a fortnight ago. The culpable January 4 had started with a normal flow and an emphatic whistle day of the Pipeline contest. Kai Lenny was all set to take part, competing for the Red Bull team.
However, the coral reef had punched in and Lenny’s headgear had borne the brunt while he was meters away from the beach. Eventually, that incident had sent him bedridden, with a low chance of a speedy comeback. However, the surfer was adamant. So this time, Kai Lenny appeared in the usual pose again to prove his sentence. Nevertheless, the guy was still in a state of unsettling feet.

After the fateful incident, the legendary Florence brothers were in the parley of the speedy recovery of Kai Lenny. The big wave surfer couldn’t disappoint the royalties, as on January 22, he posted a returning chance. This time, his Instagram story share did the work of a messenger of the news. In the visual, Kai Lenny appeared, taking a glance at the small waves while seated on a secluded beach. However, the message was “KINDA NERVOUS”. However, the message is yet to be clear coming from what side as Daniel Jones, a surfing photographer, was the mainstay for creating the story. Even so, it remained fit for the 31-year-old surfer who experienced havoc on that day.
On that pivotal Thursday, Lenny’s helmet had grabbed most of the highlight for saving his life. The helmet had been broken into two parts, almost indicating the severity of the incident in the Pipeline. But Kai Lenny didn’t let the others know a whisker of the incident till the very end. After returning to Da Hui Beach, things got clear. That daredevil aura always remained with the surfer in several big wave encounters previously.
