Athletes from all over the world compete in qualification events such as the WSL Championship Tour, the ISA World Surfing Games, and the Pan American Games for the honor of representing their countries on this grand Olympic stage. A rigorous qualification process will determine the path to the Olympic Games in Paris in 2024. This historic competition will feature 48 surfers, 24 men and 24 women. Through various competitions such as the WSL Championship Tour, the ISA World Surfing Games, and the Pan American Games, each National Olympic Committee (NOC) can earn a maximum of four spots (two per gender). Additionally, the host country, France, will be granted two spots, ensuring a captivating mix of international talent and local representation.
