Less occurrence of shark attacks in the Atlantic region
Gavin Naylor, being the chief of the International Shark Attack File in Florida, whiskered such fatal attacks by sharks along the Florida beach. In his interview with the Associated Press, he mentioned the presence of sharks on the beach could be high. But that didn’t make the beaches prone to shark attacks. Even as per his provided data, the attack rate worldwide is also very low, in 50 odds.

Gavin Naylor also added,“the animals are a little bit less cautious than they otherwise might be.” regarding the sharks staying along the Florida beaches. He named acclimatization as the responsible reason for the sharks’ less cautiousness. The same statements were echoed in the International Shark Attack File recorded by the University of Florida. So, despite such low frequency, the fateful incident might raise a concern for the local authority and tourist communities.
