Lindsey Vonn, the alpine skiing sensation, recently found herself in unfamiliar territory. Lindsey Vonn had a remarkable adventure following her most recent knee surgery. The legendary skier took on water sports in the Grand Canyon which were as she stated, “Doctor approved activities”. However, she then pushed the boundary a bit more as she took a dip in the world of foil surfing.
Jet-skiing and boating through the crystal-clear waters, Vonn revealed the exhilaration on Instagram. Vonn sought comfort and adventure in the grand beauty of the Grand Canyon while recuperating and reviving. All while making an unexpected billionaire friend and sparking excitement among fans.

In a recent post on the social media platform Threads, Lindsey Vonn was spotted engaging in foil surfing. This however seemed quite dangerous seeing as she had just gotten out of surgery. In the video footage, Vonn can be seen attempting surf foiling but also experiencing a few falls during her endeavor.
She was dressed in a white life jacket with the emblem of Red Bull, and she was sporting a knee brace on the knee where she had previously undergone surgery.
She accompanied the video with a sneaky caption that playfully stated, “Maybe not doctor approved but man I had fun! First day on a foil and knee feels great. Full steam ahead #healing 2.5 weeks post-operation.” Among the comments on the Threads post, one individual’s response particularly stood out.

This person turned out to be none other than Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Meta, the company that also initiated Threads. He expressed his appreciation for Vonn’s post with two clapping emojis, sparking a conversation between the two notable figures. Vonn, in response to Zuckerberg’s comment, wrote, “Have you foiled?! Let’s go!! Or skiing lol.” Mark Zuckerberg replied enthusiastically, “Yeah, it’s great! Once you get the e-foil down, try towing behind a jetski on a regular foil board. Then you can go in the ocean and that’s even more fun. Skiing is pretty good too…”
In her continued interaction, Lindsey Vonn remarked, “Ok that’s next level! Once I’m full strength I’ll try it! Still only 3 weeks post-operation. LMK when you’re in Miami, let’s do it!” Many might not know this, but Mark Zuckerberg has been riding the hydrofoil waves for a while.
