Morgan has been instrumental in steering USWNST to victory in the 2015 and 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cups. In addition to being magnificent on the field, she proved her mettle in clinching endorsement deals. In 2015, Morgan was ranked as the top-paid American women’s soccer player.
When Alex Morgan felt helpless
In a recent interview, Morgan shared the moment she felt completely dejected. She said, “In 2011, we were crushed by losing in the World Cup final.” Emphasizing the strong impact it has left on her, she stated, “It was crushing.”
Furthermore, she added they deserved to win and reiterated that it was the most disappointing, saddest moment of her life up to that point.
Then, she shared about their comeback and winning the gold medal in the 2012 Olympics. Morgan described it as “unbelievable” about having gold medals around their necks after such the disappointing year of 2011 debacle.

Notably, the soccer star scored the match-winning goal in the semi-final match against Canada at the 2012 London Olympics. With 28 goals and 21 assists in 2012, she became the youngest U.S. player to score 20 goals in a single season.

Morgan is the most endorsed female athlete of the year
