“They’re Going to Have to Go to the Moon”: Nina Dobrev’s TVD Co-Star Predicts a Wild Fate for Shaun White and His Girlfriend

Shaun White, the snowboarding legend, in his two-decade arduous journey clinched three Olympic gold medals and numerous world championships before retiring in March 2022. Having spent his entire life devoted to the snowy mountains, he has now likely turned his eye to the rest of the world, making it his playground. 

As though bitten by the travel bug, he and his lady love, Nina Dobrev, are visiting every corner of the globe. This is significant as it has been their norm since White‘s retirement. And his companions can’t keep silent about it.

The snowboarding great and Nina, have been on a vacation frenzy. At the rate which they are visiting different countries, they are bound to run out of locations to visit very soon. The couple has been busy, making journey after journey, and they don’t appear to be tiring any time soon.

The “Flying Tomato” a.k.a. Shaun doesn’t seem to have retired from speed sports as evident in his travel spree. Greece, the UK, Middle East – the ‘jokesters’ as described by Kayla Ewell, Nina’s co-star and close friend, do have a long checklist of places to visit. 

Ewell said in an interview that she and her husband, Tanner Novlan joke with them all the time that, “they need to stop traveling because … [they’re never] home. We live right by them right now, but we’re like, ‘Well, we’ll see you next time you’re home,’ because they just left again for another three months.”

Nodding in agreement, he added, “running out of places [to travel] — they’re going to have to go to the moon.”

Horse-riding, adventure sports, taking a walk along the beach, watching sunsets, parties, meeting people, and eating different cuisines, the love birds are setting serious couple goals.

Nina’s incredible influence on Shaun

Two and a half years into their relationship since their official announcement in an Instagram post in April 2020, they have supported each other, grown as a couple and made loads of memories together. The lovely duo have regularly shared about their blossoming relationship and what they mean to each other. In an interview in 2020, Shaun opened up on the indelible influence the Canadian actress has cast upon him. 

Feeling on top of the world, the snowboarder sensation said, “Nina’s incredible,”. He continued, “What an influence on my life. Not only does she run her own show, her own world, companies she’s involved in, things she’s producing, all this stuff going on. She holds me to this same high standard which is so wonderful to have in a partner.”
