“The Future Looks Epic”: Legendary Shaun White Celebrates His 36th Birthday at the Burning Man Festival With His Impeccable Outfit

The legendary Shaun White has created a legacy with his snowboarding performances and his unbridled personality. The snowboarder was born on September 3, 1986, and later followed in the footsteps of professional skateboarder Tony Hawk. Recently, the three-time Olympic gold medalist celebrated his 36th birthday with a remarkable outfit at a festival.

On his Instagram handle, he shared unearthly pictures of himself dressed in neon clothing with long, white hair.

The three-time gold medalist shared the series of pictures on Instagram. In the first picture, Shaun sits in front of a neon sign while flaunting white hair. He captioned the picture, “Hit burning man for my 36th birthday… the future looks epic.”

After seeing the post, people went crazy and started praising Shaun for his new approach. Meanwhile, his girlfriend, Nina Dobrev, was not spotted in the picture. But, on the other hand, she also posted on Instagram wishing him while calling him a weirdo. She wrote, “I really picked a winner [ and he really picked a booger ]. Happy belated birthday, you weirdo. My weirdo.”

The photos were clicked at a festival called the Burning Man Festival. This festival is celebrated for a week by different communities. During the festival, people celebrate by burning a large wooden sculpture of a man. It was founded in 1986 by an artist named Larry Harvey. Usually, the festival is celebrated near the empty lake in Nevada’s black rock desert. The festival is famously known for its people wearing different astonishing outfits.

Meanwhile, this was not the first time Shaun had worn goofy outfits. It seems like after his girlfriend Nina took up snowboarding and skateboarding; he loves getting ready with goofy looks.

During 2021 Halloween, White was seen dressed up as Beth Harmon. Also, he got the inspiration from the Netflix show Queen’s Gambit, which made the game of chess popular again. Meanwhile, his girlfriend, who always praised him, was dressed up as the champion of US chess, Benny Watts.

On the other hand, in 2018, White was seen all dressed up for Halloween in Simple Jack’s costume. However, he had to face the backlash for sporting this look. It was because the character of Simple Jack, the main character of the movie Tropic Thunder, was physically disabled. In addition, the snowboarder also issued an apology post on Instagram and accepted his mistake of dressing up as a disabled character.
