Rubbing White’s lip was an everyday practice

Snowboarding is an exciting sport and for White, it was everything he thought of from an early age. That being said, one cannot discount the injuries and risks involved in the sport. In the podcast, the snowboarding legend speaks about a scar on his lip due to an injury.

White had a therapist to break down the scar tissues on his lip. “My physical therapist had to rub my lip every day” to loosen and break the tissues down, thus reducing its appearance. White’s therapist would do it diligently, even when they were traveling and waiting at an airport. “She is on her phone and her hand is in my mouth,” the Olympian athlete remarked upon his uncompromising therapist.
