With that, all eyes have been on what the snowboarder will do next. White kick-started his retirement by taking a trip to Antarctica with his girlfriend and actress, Nina Dobrev. The duo was also seen ringing the Christmas Bells around the season. However, that isn’t the bell fans want to hear any longer. Now more than ever, fans wish to see White starting the next phase of his life with Dobrev. But what led to the sudden request by the fans?

Former snowboarder Shaun White and actress Nina Dobrev walked down that red carpet together. White posted photos from the evening on Instagram with the caption, “Oscars weekend …I just woke up🍾🫣.” The couple selected contrasting monochrome outfits for the evening.

White rocked a dashing all-black suit with a black bow tie. Whereas, Nina Dobrev slayed in her white sequence high slit, one-shoulder, long-sleeve gown. The color of their outfits made them look like the perfect bride and groom. However, something was lacking in the photo. Fans didn’t hesitate to point out there should be a ring on the actor’s finger.

Though the couple has been dating for just over two years, fans think it’s enough.
