Adventure Seeker Shaun White Had an “Unreal Day” With Lewis Hamilton, Aaron Paul, Jared Leto, and Others in Antarctica

Shaun White is among the most decorated snowboarders of all time. White began his career with skateboarding but transitioned to snowboarding. He remains the only athlete to win gold in the Olympics, X Games, and Winter X Games for snowboarding and skateboarding. After such an illustrious career, White is enjoying retirement to the fullest. Recently, the adventure seeker went on a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Antarctica. However, he wasn’t alone. Other athletes and celebrities, including his partner Nina Dobrev, joined the Olympian.

Earlier the three-time Olympic gold medalist uploaded a video of him snowboarding on the ice-covered slopes of Antarctica with Dobrev, Jared Leto, Lewis Hamilton, and others. The video showcases the snowboarding skills of everyone in White’s “crew.”

The former Olympic snowboarding champion uploaded the video for the viewing pleasure of 2.1 million Instagram followers. “Unreal day with the crew,” the Olympian captioned the video. The video begins with a helicopter dropping off the snowboard on a snow-covered slope. The rest of the video shows short clips of White and his companions tearing through the slopes on their boards.

White also performs some front flips. However, Nina Dobrev’s snowboarding skills impressed many fans who commented on this video. Despite never competing professionally, Dobrev kept up with her partner on the snow. Jared Leto and YouTune celebrity/actor Jimmy Tatro also appear in the video. Breaking Bad actor Aaron Paul commented, “I. Will. Never. Recover.”

White and Dobrev were dressed from head to toe in Whitespace snowboarding gear while sporting Whitespace snowboards. However, it’s unclear if the rest of the crew also slid down the slopes on Whitespace snowboards. Whitespace is a snowboarding apparel and accessories brand that the retired Olympian founded.

Almost everyone posted about the trip on Instagram

Besides the 13-time Winter X Games gold medalist, others also posted about their experience on social media. Dobrev posted multiple photos and videos with F1 legend Lewis Hamilton, actor Zoey Deutch and others. Similarly, Jimmy Tatro also posted on Instagram. Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 driver said, “Antarctica was chill AQ,” in one of his posts.

However, Oscar winner Jared Leto didn’t post about the trip on social media. Besides tearing up the slopes on snowboards, the vacationers also saw whales, seals, and penguins up close.
