With three Olympic Gold medals under his belt, White candidly shared how his approach to fitness has evolved. The interview was uploaded on Men’s Health’s official YouTube Channel 2 days ago. White shared that as a young snowboarding prodigy, he admittedly relied solely on his natural talents, dismissing the need for structured workouts. However, a pivotal moment during the 2014 Olympics inspired a shift in his perspective.

The host asked White, “How has your workout changed over time?” To this, he replied, “I started doing it I remember talking about it in the press when I was younger working out like I just didn’t do it. I was 15, and I was still winning the event so I didn’t feel I needed to have a crazy regimen but I think around the 2014  Olympics I started getting into it and working out. So, after that, it then started to change slightly over the years because I found that I needed to be more flexible and light than to be bulky and have kind of muscle mass”.

And then he was asked about his post-retirement regimen, “How often do you snowboard now”. Here white said, “I do it quite a bit now. Just as much as before but just in a different way now in retirement, I want to go back and ride all the runs that I never got to do”. Shaun’s fitness journey continues to inspire athletes and fitness enthusiasts alike, setting the stage for the revelations in his compelling docu-series.
