Vonn further advised stretching of both knees going one at a time. This would help in relaxing the muscles and the joints. The Olympic champion then stretched her back to relax her posterior side, followed by warming up the core to give stability to the entire body. Stretching of core muscles also provides strength to the entire body. Vonn ended the TikTok video by finally activating the legs with lunges to get full energy.

The 38-year-old claims the set of five exercises to be a risk-free method of working out. However, Vonn herself has had a long history of injuries which has challenged her commitment at different levels. 

Vonn’s long battle with injuries

The 4x World Champion is one of the most decorated sports persons around the globe. Vonn faced multiple injuries in her career. Her knee problem has been the cause of chronic pain for the legendary skier even after her retirement. However, last month the alpine skier shared a post on her Instagram describing her daily struggles while taking care of the injured leg.

But the 38-year-old has been an inspiration to millions for a reason. The star skier never let her physical pain come in the way of her goals. Her Instagram videos often describe the hardworking nature of the legendary skier. Although her knee replacement injury is long due, fans hope that the star skier would be free of the pain very soon.
