Alpine Skiing champion Mikaela Shiffrin’s love for star Taylor Swift is no secret. From jamming out to her chart-topping hits at concerts to gushing about her in countless interviews, Shiffrin proudly wears her Swiftie badge. So, when the opportunity arose to celebrate her Best Female Athlete ESPY Award win, looks like Shiffrin chose to celebrate it with an Eras Tour concert. She has recently spent her best weekend by attending Swift’s latest stop in her global tour, and added another feather to the fangirl cap.

But not alone! She had her huge crew of friends, her boyfriend, Norwegian alpine ski racer Aleksander Aamodt Kilde, alongside her and had a blast in the show. Shiffrin couldn’t contain her enthusiasm, echoing Swift’s sentiment in three powerful words in her Instagram story with her fans. Any idea what those words can be?

 In her recent Instagram post, she reposted an Instagram story put by Alice Merryweather, another World Cup alpine ski racer. Merryweather posted a story on 16th July 2023 on her Instagram handle, where she and all the other crazy fans are spotted ready for the Grammy award-winning singer’s entry and added three words for their all-time favorite. She writes, “We are Ready @Taylorswift”.

In the previous story, she can be seen with a number of fans dressed up in glamorous looks. Following this, Shiffrin is seen as capturing the beautiful moments of the countdown for the entry of her favorite singer. 

In a recent interview from 11th May 2023 with NBC Sports, Shiffrin couldn’t contain her admiration for the renowned singer-songwriter. “She is absolutely a favorite. She is on a different level of being able to write, essentially poetry, and turning it into music. It’s fun to listen to her songs.” said the Alpine Skiing queen. Speaking about her go-to albums, Shiffrin says in the NBC interview, “I am a big Taylor Swift fan, I actually think that folklore might be my favorite. I am not really sure like how people label the Eras versus albums but this sort of more recent era, I’ve been really obsessed with.” Speaking about her then plans to watch the singer live, she elaborated, “I don’t have any plans to go to one of her concerts but someday I like I absolutely have to go, I just, I don’t have any tickets or plans yet, but that’s definitely on my bucket list.”

Looks like Shiffrin can finally check that agenda off her list. When the opportunity finally arose, Shiffrin was front and center, ready to party like a true fan.
