America’s proud skiing athlete has left supporters and the world on tables multiple times with her gracious performance and accolades.

Time and again, Shiffrin is back after exploiting her last season. The windiest skier has kicked off on her 14th World Cup race in Austria. Following this news, one new social media update showcasing real-time scores of athletes has left the world in aghast.

On 28th Oct 2023, the Eurosport account shared a new tweet on their account. In the video, the account admin has shared a video showcasing Shiffrin dominating the ice with her powerful moves. What truly captured the attention was its caption that reads, “Mikaela Shiffrin is ʙᴀᴄᴋ.” 

The statement concludes by stating that Shiffrin is commencing her 2023-24 season with a stellar 1.09:52 run in Sölden. This specific time (1.09:52) represents the duration of her run, suggesting that it was an impressive performance. After holding the 5th position in the Women’s Giant Slalom Run 1 standings, Shiffrin is not settled yet. She is set to make her way to first by the second standing. However, apart from this, her last year’s marks were also worth watching.

Mikaela Shiffrin’s 2022-2023 season triumphs included 3 world championship medals. First, giant slalom gold, second slalom and third, super-G silvers. Furthermore, in an interview, Shiffrin reflected on the perpetual reset inherent in her pursuit of crystal globes. She states, “It just kind of resets every year.

In addition to this, the athlete’s dominance clinched 14 victories & a career-best 2,206 points, along with her fifth overall globe. Despite these achievements, the Shiffrin journey in 2022 wasn’t a cakewalk. Her pursuit of a perfect build-up was marred by illnesses. The athlete went through food poisoning after her on-snow camp in Chile and a subsequent mysterious sickness upon her return.

Undeterred, Shiffrin emerged victorious, resiliently stating, “I’ll take it,” as she embarks on yet new season. Now, as the second standing began in a few hours, the world awaited for Shiffrin to make waves in the skiing community.
