The American former world cup ski racer, Lindsey Vonn is famous for being the first woman to win 82 World Cup championships. Vonn announced her retirement in 2019. In the year 2015, Vonn started her foundation called the ‘Lindsey Vonn Foundation’. She started this to achieve her goal to help other young girls with their academics and athletic passions. This is solely dedicated to empowering girls with many different opportunities. It encourages their strength and guides them to their ultimate destination.

The foundation helps girls find and enhance their abilities and potential in a comfortable environment with growth and empowerment. The alpine ski racer shares that she always had a passion to help girls with achieving their dreams in sports and education. One of her fans posted on her social media about her daughter getting the ‘Silver Xcel State Championship’ with the help of the Lindsey Foundation scholarships.

The fan wrote on her Instagram post, “So proud of you Kelsey! Silver Excel State Championship! She was the only one representing Stars Gymnastic….she will hopefully move up to the team in the fall @lindseyvonn.” Lindsey also reposted this post on her Instagram showing appreciation for her acknowledgement in no time.

Numerous Sports Scholarships in Lindsey Foundation For Girls

Lindsey’s non-profit foundation offers different scholarships for girls across the US to help them pursue their dream sport and education with help, guidance, and financial aid. The aim behind creating this foundation was to go out of state and comfort zone to learn more about the people and their passion for sports.

Not only for gymnastics, but Lindsey Foundation provides 417 various scholarships with 124 sports and 160 enrichment scholarships. The girls based in the US with inactive financial states under 10-18 years old can apply for the scholarships. Anyone in Lindsey Foundation can take one scholarship in a year and 3 in the total period.
