Ski accidents are increasing at an alarming rate. Recently, a Twitter page shared a video showing a horrendous accident. While skiing, a man went to the brink of the icy platform and suddenly everything collapsed, leaving no trace of him. This made the viewers jump out of their seats and anxious about his upcoming catastrophe. Showing the unpredictability of nature, the video drew the attention of the community. Eventually, the fans of the sport could not resist and shared their views on the post.

A man was ‘taken’ while skiing

A channel named Vicious Videos shared a horrible video on their Twitter page, projecting a ski accident. They captioned it with, Taken”, which depicted the exact incident in one word. Evidently, two or more people were skating through the snow of an impregnable mountain. One of them unknowingly reached the edge of the snow and, within the blink of an eye, the chunk collapsed, engulfing the man. And when his partners reached the spot, there was no trace of him.

This video created goosebumps among the viewers. Though some felt terrible for the victim, some of them thought the uncanny took place of his negligence.

History of accidents

Though this is not the first time that the world witnessed an accident while skiing. Previously, the video of Olympian Nina O’Brien went viral as she suffered a horrifying injury at Beijing Winter Olympics. She slipped her step after passing the gate while landing both feet apart in a precarious position. However, this resulted in her being unconscious for ten minutes.

Furthermore, a Japanese snowboarder Rina Yoshika also suffered a spinal injury. As she failed to judge the landing, Yoshika ended up hurting her back badly. However, the paramedics took some grave action and took her for treatment.

While the sport was supposed to bring entertainment to the world, it’s becoming more of a scary one.
