In a recent interview with Servus On Sport, the 29-year-old skier Mikaela Shiffrin spilled the beans on how she can never have enough of Taylor Swift’s songs. In the YouTube upload from December 6, Shiffrin proclaimed her love for the popstar and lamented how last summer shouldn’t have come to an end. Talking about how she got to witness a show to remember, Mikaela said, “I wish it was this summer as well,” before revealing her admiration for Swift further. “Every day, every hour I spend in the car is really a Taylor Swift concert. So it’s just a lifelong thing,” confessed skiing icon Mikaela Shiffrin, speaking candidly about her love for the singer.

When asked about her favorite Taylor Swift song, Mikaela Shiffrin had the perfect reply, echoing the sentiment of Swift’s own hit “Red”: “It’s just something for every mood.” With a beaming grin, she proudly declared herself an official Swifty. “I’m an official Swifty now,” she said. However, she was quick to clarify that she’s not as obsessive as some of the die-hard fans. “I couldn’t tell you every fact about her life… I’m a healthy Swifty, in a good way,” she laughed. But wait. There’s more!

When the host pointed out her lack of friendship bracelets—a staple of die-hard Swifties—Mikaela Shiffrin cheekily responded with a laugh, “No, I have some at home.” While Shiffrin’s love for music and Taylor Swift would make her fans light up, they also can’t stop thinking about when the seminal feat would happen in the skier’s career. But it might be easier said than done.
