In a conversation with a PopCulture anchor, Shiffrin spoke of different thoughts on her upcoming season, out of which the highlight on obstacles shone. When asked, “What things do you need to do to have success in the upcoming season?, Shiffrin responded, ?Training has been good, I just got back, I just came straight to New York City from Chile. I have been at the ski camp for the last about a month. It was good training.”?
She continued to explain the problems she professionally faced, ?But a little bit of struggle with the weather, we?ve had a lot of snow, which is normally a great thing for skiing,?. Then further broke down the reason ?why? much snow isn?t good. She adds, ?As skiers were very particular, and it’s like, please, we need snow, but not too much. We want it to be in hard conditions as well. You know we get very picky about it?.
Olympic gold medalists are on point since skiing needs snow, but an abundance of it might harm or won?t help the skier in giving his/her best performance. Apart from this, the skier has also commented on her potential 100th mark this season?.

The world celebrated the queen of the slopes when she clinched her 87th World Race victory, crossing Ingemar Stenmark. Now, standing on the verge of her acquiring her 100th win, Shiffrin approaches it with a grounded perspective, stating, ?I don’t see it. If we’re just being realistic, it for sure could happen. I just can’t imagine what that would look like, how it would feel. I don’t know. “
Shiffrin’s playful side emerges as she draws a delightful analogy between her winning milestones and pasta. Recounting the aftermath of her 87th win, she shares, ?Right now I’m thinking about the shape of the pasta, because after 87, Barilla made a limited edition pasta as an auction item, and they shaped it in the shape of 87. So it was 87 pasta, and now I’m just thinking about a hundred pasta.” Her journey from numerical milestones to pasta shapes adds a touch of whimsy to the incredible story she continues to weave on the slopes.
