Alpine skiing queen Lindsey Vonn not only enjoys chasing the thrill down the slaloms but she also is an avid Formula 1 enthusiast. Hence, owing to her passion for chasing the adrenaline rush of the Formula 1 track, Vonn often graces her presence at best friend Lewis Hamilton’s beloved arena. On the same note, as the Las Vegas Grand Prix is all set to reach its conclusion, the skiing legend shared a glimpse of the Nevada tracks on her social media handle.

Vonn recently visited the Las Vegas GP held from 16th Nov till 18th November 2023 and shared various glimpses from the ongoing event. Amid the chaos of track, her pictures took all the social media brownie points. Following this, the athlete recently added a new few-second clip showcasing the eagle view that has taken the internet by storm.

On 18th November, the skiing queen took to her Instagram handle to share a video from the F1 tracks of Las Vegas. The video showcased the breathtaking Formula 1 Las Vegas view from a helicopter, featuring her and other iconic personalities like Vashti Cunnigham, Will Claye, Trinity Rodman and many more.

Accompanying the video is the caption that reads, ?Bird?s eye view of Vegas with the red bull crew!??. The skiing legend with a big smile and cap looked stunning. She added the same to her stories with, ?Up up and away we go!?.?

Interestingly, Vonn accompanied her reel with Doja Cat’s song ‘Vegas’ as she captured the aerial view of the tracks.

However, the day one for the Las Vegas F1 Grand Prix didn?t go as planned. Despite the stunning view and her previous highlights, an unforeseen setback left sports enthusiasts disappointed.

Formula One’s grand entry into the New World at the Las Vegas Grand Prix turned into a spectacle of disappointment. The first practice session faced a setback as Carlos Sainz’s car suffered severe damage from a drain cover.

It led to its abandonment. The frustration escalated when fans, after a 4-hour wait, were abruptly asked to leave the circuit at 1:30 am on 17th November, Friday, missing the second practice.?

The decision has been taken to keep integrity on priority. Despite emergency repairs, the delayed FP2 began with empty grandstands. The premature closure of the paddock club and logistical challenges compelled organizers to prioritize staff safety over fan experience. Sainz rejoined FP2 after his car’s extensive repairs, highlighting the challenges faced in F1’s return to Las Vegas after 41 years in history.?
