Lindsey Vonn is beautiful on the inside and out. Recently the alpine ski racer proved that she has a heart of gold by visiting a children’s hospital amidst medical concerns. Vonn limped into the Children’s Hospital in Colorado to honor the promise she made to the kids. She selflessly took the time to brighten the day of young patients at the hospital.

The Olympic champion’s visit undoubtedly brought smiles and inspiration to those in need. She posted pictures on social media documenting the beautiful moments she shared with the children. From her smiling face, no one could have guessed that she had knee surgery earlier this week. She bore through her own pain to spread joy in the hospital.

She dedicates her time to helping young girls achieve their dreams in sports and elsewhere through the Lindsey Vonn Foundation. As part of her philanthropic efforts, Vonn recently made a heartwarming visit to a children’s hospital in Colorado. The hospital runs a multimedia studio in association with Ryan Seacrest Foundation. The Foundation’s mission is to provide ailing children with some distractions and entertainment during their hospital stay. Vonn visited the hospital to show her support for the media personality’s noble mission.

She posted a couple of pictures from the visit on her social media account. The first picture on her Instagram story showed Vonn sitting in the Seacrest studio, joyfully chatting with the kids. She captioned the Instagram story, “Love how @ryanseacrest supports the kids with their own studio. Pretty amazing”. In another lovely picture, the kids were playing with the dogs she brought to cheer them up. In the next picture, Vonn was standing in front of the banner for the Foundation, supporting herself with a crutch. This picture reminded everyone of Vonn’s resilience as she continued to support the cause despite her pain.

In the last two pictures on the Instagram story, Vonn displayed the scars on her legs from the surgery and how she is slowly recovering. The skier has undergone surgeries several times in the past since her injury in 2019. All of these surgeries were meant to repair the torn LCL, but she hasn’t recovered completely. Recently she revealed, “We still have work to do, and most likely another surgery”. She remains optimistic and determined to overcome the obstacles in her path. Vonn is truly an inspiration to all those kids who are facing adversity and struggling with their own injuries.
