Two teen boys experienced a fatal accident on a fun spring break. They were on their way to Colorado from Ilinois, when they lost their lives at the Copper Mountains on Sunday. Although they were provided medical aid, they could not be saved. The unfortunate news saddened netizens to the core.

Recently, the Today Show reported the tragic incident of the two teen boys Dylan Bazzell and Drew Fehr. They shared the news on their official Facebook handle that received grieving reactions from netizens.

How did the accident take place?

The teen boys faced a tragic accident after getting hit by solid ice. The Summit County Sheriff’s officers responded to the accident at 8:45 pm. They revealed the cause of their death in a report that stated, “reportedly rode tandem down the half-pipe and launched off a large snowbank at the bottom of the half-pipe. The two individuals came down hard on the hard ice below, causing blunt force trauma.”

Although the boys were given immediate medical attention, sadly they were declared dead. Later, Prairie Central Superintendent Paula Crane confirmed the identities of the boys – they were seniors at Prairie Central High School in Fairbury, Illinois.

Crane revealed that Dylan Bazzell and Drew Fehr were talented students of the institutions. As the news of their death shocked their near and dear ones in the school, Crane ensured that the institution is proving students the support to grieve the tragic loss.
