Tony Hawk is the greatest skateboarder to have played the sport. Indeed, he is an excellent player, but additionally, he also has contributed immensely to making skateboarding a mainstream sport. Recently, Hawk made a comeback to the skating pits after nine months of break.

Thrasher Magazine recently uploaded a video showing the skateboarding veteran into action once again. After watching the legend back on the skateboard, fans couldn’t stop but welcome back him after the injury.

Is Tony Hawk back to skateboarding?

Tony Hawk has a massive fan following. A veteran skateboarder and the one who changed the way skateboarding is seen in the world. Fans were extremely excited when they saw Tony Hawk in his favorite place doing his favorite thing. However, a few of them were still confused if the video was from before his injury.

Welcoming the extremely skilled vert skateboarder, fans wrote“No better sound than vert”, “This is gold 👏👏👏🔥”, “Master Crane on the last slide 🙌”, “Tony’s Indy’s lookin clean 🧼 😍”

Whereas many other fans reminded everyone why is he called the GOAT. A fan wrote, “Tony Hawk is a GOAT for not only being legend in his talents but for what he has given us all throughout the years.” Another fan enquired if it is a recent video, and he wrote, “is that after the injury?”

Earlier this year, Tony Hawk met another accident while skating in his life. Among many accidents that he faced while skating since he was just a kid. This one must have hurt the most as he is older now and bone injuries are difficult to recover from as a person grows old. 

However, Hawk knew this injury will be harder to recover from the ones he had earlier. But he was most certain about making a comeback onto the pit once again. He knew, and he told in a post“I’ve said many times that I won’t stop skating until I am physically unable. A broken leg — with plenty of hardware — will probably be the biggest test of that creed. I’ll be back … maybe not at full capacity but I resigned to that notion years ago as I approached ‘mid-life.'”
